Love Notes began in 2023 as a quiet act of healing. When burnout crept in, beading became a meditative way to slow down, breathe, and pour positive energy into something beautiful. Every piece made here carries that intention.The jewelry is boho-country in spirit: layered, earthy, and full of character. Some pieces are built around a single vintage find such as a clasp or pendant and given new life. Others are original designs strung with semi-precious gemstones and 14-karat gold-plated accents.

Each piece is a love note out into the world.

Kay holds a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and spent years as both an educator and a clinician studying love, intimacy, and human connection, and speaking about her research to audiences around the world. She is a published author of trade publications and a writer of romance and fantasy fiction. She also co-founded a nonprofit farm animal sanctuary in Temecula, California, dedicated to giving animals a permanent, loving home.She is quiet in person. Not because there is nothing happening but because there is almost too much. Her inner world is vast and colorful, full of stories, ideas, and feeling. Love Notes jewelry is one of the few places all of that finds its way out into something you can hold in your hands.
